Nitto Denko NT-8000/8500 Series is a series of high-purity epoxy resins used for encapsulating of semiconductor elements for LEDs. Lineup includes the NT-8500 series as material for transfer molding and the liquid (2-liquid type) material NT-8000 Series that can be selected according to molding method. Applications for optical semiconductors using the NT-8000/8500 Series include light emitting elements for traffic signals, outdoor full-color displays, and cellular telephone LCD backlight panels, optical sensors for CD/DVD equipment and remote controllers, light receiving device for optical fiber telecommunications, and interrupters consisting of light emitting and receiving devices.
